After establishing themselves as Bristol’s first craft beer and pizza bar in Cotham, the team from Beerd have been a busy bunch. Recently, they have secured a deal with Bibendum (a wine distribution company) to bottle up two of their tasty brews only available on draft in select pubs: ‘Silvertip’ and ‘Monocle’ 
Monocle is a 5.3% English IPA
A deep golden, very English IPA, using all native ingredients. A subtle biscuity malt body is courteously accompanied by spicy yet floral aromas contributed by Goldings hops. If Monocle was a real gentleman, he’d surely hold open the bar door for you. 
Silvertip a 4.7% New Zealand Pale Ale
A refreshing pale ale using popular New Zealand hops to give it a fruity aroma and a flavour that has hints of white wine. It is easy to drink and has a fresh quick bitter finish much like the tears of a Hobbit. On having the opportunity to release these little beasts into the wild, Jamie Avenell, Craft Beer Buyer at Bibendum, said:
“When we began looking at adding craft beer to our range, it made perfect sense to speak to Bath Ales given our existing partnership, and it quickly became clear we had a brilliant opportunity to focus on bottled beers from Beerd. “The initial response from our customers has been fantastic and we more than justified our decision to list craft beers.”
To celebrate the introduction of these two critters into their natural habitat, we have teamed up with Beerd to give away a meal at the Beerd bar in Cotham that includes: two pints of Beerd beer and two pizzas! Schwing!
