Introducing: Bingo Wings
TLDR: Get your tickets here before they bin-GO.
I’ve never been to a Bingo hall. Halls in general are never really happy places. I actively avoid them in fact. Bingo, again: well it’s hardly Halo 5 is it? It’s not even Halo 2...
What we do love though are puns. Puns, chicken and mild amount of self depreciative linguistic ridicule. Introducing; ‘Bingo Wings’ - the brainchild of incessantly enthusiastic Bristolian and all round bringer-of-fun Thom Whitchurch from the website Foozie.
Bingo Wings then is a game of bingo where numerical values are replaced with your favourite Bristolian phrases such as "gurt lush", "daps!" and possibly "I hate First buses" (a Bristol lingo bingo if you will). Bingo Wings kicks at the Old Bookshop on North Street on May 2nd, followed by The Mall pub in Clifton Village on May 21st. There’s 3 games each night, with prizes for first line and full card - plus chicken wings throughout the night - all for £8.
