The American Dream: In-Flight Bowling Runner Up

This week sees Matt off to the land of dreams to soak up some American culture, expand his horizons and probably ‘find himself’.  If Matt does indeed ‘find himself’ I wouldn't expect more than a fleeting nod as he speeds past in the rather inconspicuous Mustang hire car on the way to Denny’s. Only 24 hours in to the journey Matt has updated me with an exchange in which he ponders whether the art of in-flight entertainment is dead. In the world where even iPads themselves have iPads to play with, what of the entertainment provided on the modern aeronautical marvel that is chartered flight?

Dear Mr Lampoon

Having arrived in Hollywood in the same week as becoming an international blogger and social media commentator as well as turning 25 i have been somewhat overwhelmed and unsure how to follow up my last email. I have therefore decided to send you my first meaningful picture of my Californian adventure which was taken earlier on.

I was impressed with the quality of the in-flight entertainment system as I settled down to a game of in-flight bowling with other in-flight bowling enthusiasts.

Following a bit of practice and a chap called Brad leaving the tournament I scored a modest score of 127 beating David but losing to Flyhigh21 who took the tournament with a score of 202.

I was content with my 2nd place. With such quality of in-flight entertainment at my fingertips I soon touched down in Los Angeles.
